Discover our Natural Lychee Flavouring

Floral and exotic, lychee is a tropical fruit from southern China. Recognisable by its rough, scaly pink or red rind, the lychee has a translucent, fragrant and sweet white flesh. In aromatic terms, the taste of the lychee is similar to that of the rose, but also to that of the strawberry or the muscatel. In France, the peak season for lychee, mainly from Madagascar and Reunion, is from November to January. Outside these months, this winter fruit is eaten in syrup or in tins. But you can also add a delicate flavour to your dishes with natural lychee flavouring!

Natural lychee flavouring can be used in your cocktails, smoothies, juices and sorbets. To inspire you, you should know that a major pastry house has made lychee one of its signature desserts, married with rose and raspberry. You can use it to subtly enhance the taste of your custards, ganaches and other homemade yoghurts! Natural lychee flavouring can also add an exotic touch to your savoury dishes: why not use it to flavour a vinaigrette in a sweet and sour recipe, with passion fruit, or in marinades for meats (duck in particular) or fish and shellfish?
