Thyme extract is perfect for making artisan breads and pizza doughs, adding a subtle, authentic Mediterranean touch. It adds the herbaceous flavour typical of thyme to your wholemeal, gluten-free or vegan breads, while combining harmoniously with buckwheat or spelt flours. This natural food flavouring also enriches your pizza doughs, enhancing the flavours with a fresh, slightly spicy note, while ensuring even distribution thanks to its density of 1.07.

Its slightly camphorated and herbaceous taste adds a touch of sophistication to sweet and savoury creations.

Using natural Thyme flavouring to flavour oils and vinegars

Thyme extract is excellent for flavouring oils and vinegars, turning everyday products into gourmet condiments. A few drops in extra-virgin olive oil or balsamic vinegar will add a rich, complex flavour to your salads, marinades or vegetarian dishes. Its distinct aromatic profile ensures a rapid, even infusion thanks to its Brix of 19, guaranteeing optimum diffusion of flavours.

Surprisingly, it blends in perfectly with ice creams and sorbets, adding an unmistakable herbaceous freshness. Combined with fruits such as lemon or apricot, it adds a refreshing dimension to frozen desserts. In vegan sorbets, it offers an ideal aromatic alternative for those looking for new flavours. You can also combine it with other herbs such as lavender for an original, sophisticated sorbet.

  • Composition

Water, natural flavouring substances, invert sugar syrup, guar seed flour, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate (0.1%). Non-alcoholic carrier./p>

N.B.: Inverted sugar syrup, a mixture of glucose and fructose, is mainly used in cooking for its conservation qualities and its strong sweetening power. It is present in very small quantities in our flavourings.

Guar seed flour (E412) is a natural thickener of vegetable origin which gives its texture to the flavour and makes it easier to use.

Xanthan gum (E415) is also a natural thickener of vegetable origin, which gives texture and ease of use to the flavour. A classic food additive and declared safe by our vigilant European Community, it is present in a large number of food and pharmaceutical products.

Sodium benzoate (E211), a preservative of plant origin, plays an important role in preventing the bacterial proliferation of products. It is authorised in food products in small quantities.
